Home Media

You're still paying for cable?

If you're not a "cord cutter" already then you may soon be. That's a term used to refer to people who nolonger pay for Cable TV. So many of us are veiwing most of our content from our mobile devices; smart phones and tablets already. Many of our smart devices have apps like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, HBO, Starz, etc. that we watch regularly already. And how many people do you know who own an Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV, Roku or a Slingbox?

I noticed this trend with my family and kept that in mind while designing and building our new home. Now we can stream most any content from our mobile devices to any TV in our home. And when we don't feel like reaching for our mobile devices, we can just say what we want aloud to our Google Home devices and that content is shown on the TV that we want.

To find out what tech we use to give those same mobile devices and voice commands to control the lights, switches, security and more go to my Smart Home page.
